Nearly every technology gets used for “perversion” and even the mainstream console Playstation 3 has not been spared from it. If you are a proud owner of Japanese Ps3 version, you would surely jump for joy as your unit is capable to stream Blu-Ray HD quality adult videos. Thanks to Japan’s DMM.tv, as long as you have a broadband internet, HDMI cable, and an exclusive Blueray disc to access the restricted porn channel, you are all set to directly purchase and play the videos straight from your Ps3. With a database of over a hundred videos on demand, you can find your favorite Japanese JAV star by sorting it by titles, keywords, genre, etc. Just don’t blame your household cat if ever your Dad finds out your pervy activities through his credit card.

Playstation Home is a service for the PlayStation 3 which has incorporated a Second Life-like life sim with 3D avatars where players would consider it as their second home. This feature is a dream come true to every PS3 home user – you can recreate yourself virtually and go shopping online with your online friends, or make this as a social venue to meet your potential soul mate. But is this a home-sweet-virtual-home for your kids? You may think twice if you would keep the PS3 away from your children when they are left home alone by themselves, after your read this bizarre article headlined “Proof Paedophiles are using HOME” after the break.

Here’s an anecdote of a disturbing experience from a writeup of Adam Mathew :

Sensing an awkward lull in the conversation Jed and I discussed interests, hobbies, and ages (he ’said he was over thirty’, and out of journalistic curiosity I told him that I was younger than I am. I said I was 15). This was a colossal mistake. What happened next all but confirmed the sum of all fears: “do you have a cam? I’d like to c u in the flesh” Jed asked, moving in to ‘lap dance distance’. That’s right folks, Jed-o was something of a pedo.”

Gamespot forum member revealed as follows:

“I was watching my sister testing out Home with my PSN account. She was chatting (via text) with some random guy. “What’s your name,” “Where you’re from,” “How old are you,” that kind of stuff…

Well my sister is 14 and this guy says he’s 21. From out of nowhere he says “wanna ****?” My sister became disgusted and typed remarks like “wtf, omg” and suddenly the all-powerful Locust_Star magically appears…

TedTheDog ‘Home Community Manager’ officially announced:

Suspensions and Bans are not from Home, they’re from PlayStation Network and we have more control than I could mention (or can discuss in detail) and certainly more control than I think most people realise and we can do that without mac or IP addresses getting involved. With regards to “bad people” we like to consider the intent of their actions. Some people can annoy others through innocent actions and some people just set out to annoy. We like to think we’ll seperate those out and educate one group and moderate the other. Obviously something on the scale of Home will need public education schemes rather than 1 to 1 pep talks and we’ll work on that too.

The Killzone: Liberation is undeniably enjoyable handheld tactical shooter released in PSP. You can imagine it as a Counter Strike game viewed in birds eye view. But the original version of it has no online multiplayer capability yet so they previously released a game patch for it via downloads in game’s main menu. However recently people are having problems downloading the patch due to server script issues. So here’s a visual guide how you can manually patch your game as easy as Step 1 2 3 after the jump…

This guide was made for people who don’t have a router and can not download the Patch to play online or play Chapter 5. This way all you have to do is follow the steps and you will be on your way to playing Chapter 5 and having the patch to play online. So lets begin, enjoy.

Requirements:

To download the patch successfully there are some materials you are going to need in order to play Chapter 5 and have the Online Patch. Here they are:

* Full Battery
* USB 5-Pin Cable
* Memory Card (256MB+)

Download Chapter 5.rar

Download Killzone Patch.rar

Step One:

After you download the Patch, extract the files (a) and connect your PlayStation Portable with a USB (b) to your computer. To connect your PlayStation Portable to your computer from the main menu of the PSP (XMB) go to settings and select “USB Connection”. A removable Disk (c) will appear in your computer, go the main root of your memory card (d).

a. Extracting Files b.USB Connection on PSP

c. Removable Disk Pop-Up d. Main Root of Memory Card

Step Two:

Now your going to copy the folder UCUS98646 to the GAME folder in your PlayStation Portable. (Removable Disk<PSP<GAME<UCUS98646<EBOOT.PBP) After you have done that, exit USB Mode on your PlayStation Portable and start your Killzone Liberation UMD. Make sure the EBOOT.PBP is 8.348 MB, otherwise you may be downloading a corrupt file.

Copy UCUSxxxx to your PSP

Step Three:

After you start your official copy of Killzone (UMD or PSN Store), head over to the Downloads Section (a) and click on it. It will start your browser and load the KillZone Download Center (b), after it loads (may also displays portlet error) press circle and the installation will automatically begin (c). Make sure you have a full battery or else you wont be able to start the update. Press Yes to Continue the installation. (d)

a. Downloads Section b. KillZone Download Center

c. installation promt d. patch installation

Step Four:

You should now have the update installed on your PlayStation Portable. Now begin extracting the Chapter 5 download. After it finishes we will once again be copying the contents of the folder onto the PlayStation Portable.
So it would be something like this: (My Documents<CHAPTER 5<Chapter5.bin) now copy Chapter5.Bin to (Removable Disk<PSP<GAME<UCUS98646<Chapter5.BIN).

Copy CH5.BIN to your PSP

Step Five:

Now that you have the Chapter Five on your PlayStation Portable exit USB Mode and once again start Killzone Liberation, head over to downloads once again and once it loads press circle. The Chapter Five installation will begin. You should now have the online patch and the exclusive Chapter 5 on your PlayStation Portable.

Requirements:

* Wireless Broadband Router
