Marriage System in Flyff MMORPG Part 1: The Grand Wedding Set

Here comes the bride..here comes the bride…yes it’s wedding bells and wedding fever month! Flyff version 13 has recently integrated a “couple system” where everyone are free to propose and marry anyone whom they adore or penya-naire one! Just like real life couples, there’s a “wedding vow” you must commit to each other, such as the longer relationship you can develop or more missions you play each other, you’ll earn great benefits and rare items.

1) Couple System and Divorce Option

A.    Whom i can get married?

  • Only two players of the opposite sex can become a “couple” through a proposal process; however, it is possible for any player character to change sex by using a Transy before and/or after forming a “couple.”
  • There is no level requirement for forming a couple.

B.      How do I propose?

  • There is a “propose” Motion button in the Motion window (Press “O” key to bring it up) that looks like this: Propose[1]
  • Players can “propose” only once every 24 hours. Make sure the character that you propose to is single!
  • The character that is proposed to should press the “OK” button that appears in the pop up window in order to complete the bonding and form a couple.

C. Need a divorce?

  • Couples can break up by pressing the “Break Up” button in the Couple window. (Shortcut: F Key).
  • When you are prompted with message box like “Do you want to break up with character B?”. Pressing “Yes” will grant you one step to freedom.

2) Couple Levels & Skills

The couple that plays together grows stronger together. As long as they play the game in the same channel, they will gain “Couple EXP”. When they gain enough “Couple EXP”, their “Couple Level” increases (up to a maximum of 21 levels). At certain Couple Levels, the player characters will receive unique skills called “Couple Skills”. One example is the skill called “The Power of Love” which gives both Attack Power and Defense boosts to the player characters. In addition to exclusive skills, the players will receive special gifts that are awarded to them by mail, such as Flying Clouds, Baby Luia, and Meteo Bikes!

    This couple thing are trully not fair for those who wanna propose on someone on the same gender.
    That’s rasistic, are you guy’s aware of that?
    Change that option because I wont go ‘male’ just to be able to propose on my own gf in here!
    Childish done, damn childish.
