Atlantica Online: Beginner’s Visual Guide to your journey to Atlantis

Atlantica Online is a sprawling MMORPG in which you will embark on an epic journey that will take you to mysterious and dangerous locations this real world mixed with mythological and fantasy elements, as well as through time and human history. Here’s a comprehensive visual guide to creating a character, choosing your mercenaries, and completing a basic quest after the jump.

1. Open the Atlantica game launcher shortcut on your desktop, then press the big START button to proceed. If you haven’t yet installed the Atlantica Online to your PC, click here for the installation guide.

2. At the login screen, enter your registered User ID and Password and click Login. If you don’t have an Atlantica account yet, just click register to signup.

3.You’ll be prompted with Server List [eg. Thebes]. Just choose the Server with excellent status then press Connect.

4. Type the verification code that appears and press Submit. You should be used to this Verification screen as it will always appear everytime you login.

5. At Character Select screen, click Create to make a new character

6. Type a unique character name. Only English letters and numbers are allowed with no spaces or underscore. If you live in Korea, you can also type in korean characters. Then click Gender tab, to open up the Male/Female Option and various Weapon selections. The weapon you choose also assigns you to a main job class (Class D):

Sword – Swordsman
Spear – Spearman
Bow – Archer
Axe – Viking
Gun – Gunner
Cannon – Artilleryman
Staff- Shaman
Guitar – Musician
Power Saw – Maniac (Can only be created after you have a character at least level 100)

You can also go to Appearance Tab, to change your hair, face and clothes. Just press Create when you are done customizing your character.

7. Type in your referrer’s character name in Atlantica. If a friend invited you, just make sure you are on the same server with him or your friend won’t gain any referral points. Just press confirm to submit or Cancel if no one referred you. Press Start button to load the actual game. (Your server is Thebes?…use my referrer name: CaptBasch)

8. Once the game is loaded, The NPC (Non-player character) [Lea] will introduce herself to you and teach you mercenary basic. Her first task for you is to recruit some mercenaries from the NPC “Mercenary Manager”. Press Accept to continue the quest.

9. NPC [Mercenary Manager] is just at the right opposite side, just left click him with your mouse to open up the “recruit mercenary” box window. It shows you 4 basic warriors you can choose from and click details to see their full stats. At this stage, you are only allowed to recruit 2 mercenaries. Your main character automatically becomes your team’s leader. So choose wisely when choosing your mercenaries as they will aid your leader. If you have a shaman leader, pick the warriors with high strength and attack power, however you are free to experiment. When you are finished with the recruitment, go back to NPC [Lea] , left click her and press Complete to finish your ever first quest!

10. She will give you more basic tutorials you must read. Then she’ll give you another quest to go through the next gate so you can meet NPC [Ellesian], her 2nd sister. The gate is just located at the north, the gate just looks like a waving disc of lights. Accept the quest and move your feet to the gate.

11. After you are teleported to another island, go straight to NPC [Ellessian] , you can find her south west at the middle area of the island. You can also press Alt+R to automatically move you to the NPC.
[Ellessian] will give you your first battle quest which is to kill 3 [Rabeil] monsters just wandering around that area. This battle quest will also trigger 7 basic attack tutorials.

12. [Attack] When you move your curser over a monster the icon will change into a sword. Left-click a nearby [Rabeil] monster to you enter the Battle mode. The character with a green-filled circle under their feet is friendly and currently able to move or perform ana action. Click on an enemy character and the friendly active character will attack it. The enemies with a blue-filled circle under their feet are only the ones you can attack.

One character can perform one action per each turn. Immobile, or inactive characters have a white circle under their feet. If you want to know more about attack skills of each character,
please refer to [Game Info]/[Mercenary] in the upper menu

Tip: When right-clicking on the monster, it displays the number of monster objects, its level and battle array (available only when using the scroll of patrol)

13. [Select Character] .Active characters will have green circles under their feet. Among them, currently selected characters have a green-filled circles. Now, select another currently active character. You can simply click on a character with an empty green circle. You can always select characters that you want to have performed an action for this turn.

Tip: Grey circles mean that the character is not allowed to perform any action for this turn. You cannnot perform an action without enough Action Power. Your Action Power will be replenished after each turn. If you are more comfortable with keyword when playing MMORPG, you can tap the number keys 1~3 to quickly select a character.

14. [Time Limit] Based on the number of character you have, there will be 15-30 seconds of time limit per turn, during which you have to compete all of your actions. Your enemy will have the turn unless you complete the actions within the limit. The limit also differs based on the number of your party. The current limit is 15 seconds. Complete all the actions of your character within the 15 second limit.

Tip: Your enemy will have the turn unless you complete the actions within the limit. If you hire more mercenaries later in the game, you’ll also have more time. Maximum limit is 30 seconds.
Characters that have completed the actions or lack the Action Power will have grey circles undeir their feet.

15. [Try Magic] Each character has its own characteristic magic skill. Press the magic button from the combat window on the right of the screen to execute the skill on the enemy character.
Click on the magic button you want and then click on the enemy character.

16. [Use Magic (2)] If the character has more than 2 magic skills, the first one takes the priority and gets activated. All magic skills, including healing, can be activated with a right-click.

Tip: You can quickly access your magic skills by tapping Q,W,E,R,T on your keyboard. At this stage you can only use Q & W with your other mercenaries, skills can be learned as your character advances.

17. [Use Potion] Drinking a potion in combat situations is your alternative way to replenish your health or your magic power especially when your shaman or healer can’t cast magic during their turn . the currently active character can use its turn to drink a potion instead of attacking or using skill. If you want to drink a potion in a combat situation, you first need to put potions to slots for F1 and F2 keys via [Inventory]. Press [space bar] or press [I] key on your keyboard to open up your inventory. Bring your cursor on your health potion, left click it once then drag it to the shortcut slots on the left side and click on F1 or F2 slot to assign it. Now Press again the [space bar] or press [I] key on your keyboard to close the inventory then press F1 or F2 to drink it up.

Tip: If the character has a grey circle, meaning that it has no action points, it cannot drink a potion. F3 key is activated only when you are a member of a guild. F4 and F5 will be activated when your guild rules the town.

18. [Search] The last step of the tutorial is the [Searching a Body]. Defeat an enemy and search its body to obtain items. Attack an enemy until it falls on the ground, the body of a defeated enemy will shine on the ground. Click on the shining body with a character that has enough action points, and the character will iniate a Search on the body to take items on the body. Search also required action points.

19. Once you are done with the step by step attack tutorial and was able to kill 3 [Rabeil] monsters, quickly go back to [Ellessian] to complete this mission. She’ll award you a [Spirit Weapon Box] where you can receive a random weapon when your right click the item on the inventory. She’ll also ask you to meet their final sister named [Lilith], just go back to the gate where you came from originally [check Step 11]. Once you have reached [Lileth] on the other side, she’ll give you second battle task to bring her 3 [Pieces of Memory] from the [Rabaris] and [Rabarus] monsters. After it, she’ll require you to hire one more warrior from the [Mercenary Manager], just follow step 9. When you are done with everything, just go back to [Lileth] so she can bring you back to real world. You can choose among the 4 forest of spirits: [Hanyang], [Pusan], [Sapporo], [Harbin], which are real scenaries in China.

20. After you have picked a place, you’ll be awakened from your dream and new adventures await in this real world. Good luck!

i cant create a character using my hp mini is there a way to poosibly creat one using my hp??
