Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne is a real-time strategy PC game as an official expansion pack to WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, requiring Reign of Chaos to play. Like all the other Blizzard titles like StarCraft and Warcraft 3 Defense of the Ancients (DotA), Warcraft III can be played online just like playing local multiplayer network. Players can create free accounts in Garena.com, a third party online gateway which becomes the de facto standard for online play. Experience fast and hack-free gaming with Garena! DOWNLOAD COMPLETE
Click “Run” to open the file “Garena_setup.EXE”..

GAME-INSTALL OPTION
Choose the directory where Garena will be installed.

INSTALLATION COMPLETE
Press “Finish” to end the InstallShield wizard.

RUN GARENA FROM DESKTOP
Double-click on the Garena icon on the desktop to start the game.

Garena Settings

1. After joining your channel( should be war3 TFT), find and click Settings which located at top of Garena.

Note: There are two types of

Warcraft 3 games hosted in Garena which are:

War3 TFT – War3 TFT (The Frozen Throne) is an RTS(real-time strategy)
War3 RPG. War3 RPG is the Warcraft 3 DOTA (Defense of the Ancients)

2. In game setting, choose war3 TFT from lan games and click browse Once the Game Settings appear, find and click war3 TFT in LAN Games list on the left.

3. In Executable Settings, type the game path to war3.exe or by browsing the war3.exe, eg: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\hl.exe

4. In Game Bootstrap Parameters, just leave it blank. But if you want to start warcraft 3 in windows mode for replay / ggtv purpose. you can put “ -window ” in the bootstrap parameter to launch war3 in windows mode.
5. Click OK button and you are done.
6. To start the Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne, click the Start Game button.

Note: If you are from the Philippines or India who are still using 1.20e version of WarCraft 3 TFT,
you need this guide to enable to switch to 1.21 version which is predominantly used by other countries.

Joining Game

9. Click Local Area Network

7. Once reached the Local Network Games, You can see the live games you can join as well as number of people joined and chat room limit. If you want to host your own game, you can simply press CREATE GAME and just follow the instructions and you are done. Enjoy your gaming!
